Our Story

I was born in Zimbabwe and grew up immersed in the African bush, where I developed a deep love and respect for wildlife. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to work with and observe animals across North America, Mexico, Brazil, and throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

Now based in Europe, I’ve spent over 14 years building and maintaining www.mangolinkcam.com, a wildlife webcam website featuring hundreds of live streams from around the globe. Every day, thousands of visitors tune in to:

MangoLink Shop is a natural extension of this passion. It gives our community the chance to purchase beautiful wildlife-themed items—thoughtful gifts and unique pieces that celebrate the natural world.

The shop is owned by our company, Makarikari S.L., named after the famous salt pan now known as the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan in north-eastern Botswana. One of the largest salt flats on Earth, it lies in the heart of the dry savanna and remains a place of wild beauty and inspiration.
